Real Sociedad monitoring Barcelona’s Alex Collado - report

Barcelona B midfielder Alex Collado is reportedly wanted by Real Sociedad and could depart in the summer.

According to Mundo Deportivo, La Real have been keen on Collado since last summer when they asked about his availability.

The Basque side could renew their interest in the 21-year-old, while Villarreal and Celta Vigo are also said to be interested.

Collado would prefer a move to Real Sociedad and could leave on loan or even on a permanent deal with a buyback option.

The youngster has appeared on the fringes of the first team squad this season, although Riqui Puig’s emergence could make it difficult for him to get game time in 2020-21.

Collado’s current Barca contract runs until summer of 2021 but does include the option for two more seasons.
