Barcelona have reportedly turned down two bids from Bundesliga clubs for 17-year-old midfielder Ilaix Moriba.

According to Sport, RB Leipzig and Borussia Mönchegladbach have both been in touch with Barcelona to ask about a loan but have been told Moriba is going nowhere.

Sporting director Eric Abidal is apparently keen for the teenager to stay at the Camp Nou and wants him to become a leading player for Barca B next season.

The report also suggests that Moriba may get some time training with the first team in pre-season to get him used to playing with the club’s senior stars.

Sport reckon that Barcelona see Moriba as a player who could make the breakthrough into the first team soon and want him focused on his future at the club.
