Paris Saint-Germain have reportedly set their sights on Barcelona midfielder Arturo Vidal and are willing to offer the Chilean a big contract at the Parc des Princes.

According to La Cuarta, PSG are keen to strengthen their squad this summer no matter what happens in the Champions League this season.

The club are already thinking about trying to bring in Cristiano Ronaldo and also like the look of adding Vidal to their midfield.

Vidal said recently he hopes to stay and see out his contract but things may well have changed after Friday’s traumatic loss to Bayern.

The club are reportedly willing to sell most of the squad and would surely be pretty tempted to cash in on Vidal, who’s out of contract next summer, if a suitable offer arrives.

PSG are said to be able to offer Vidal an improved contract after freeing up some space on their wage bill through the departures of Thiago Silva and Edinson Cavani.
