Celta Vigo have become the latest club to be linked with Barcelona B captain Monchu who is expected to depart the Camp Nou this summer.
According to Mundo Deportivo, Oscar Garcia’s side would be willing to join the bidding for the midfielder who they feel would be a good fit for the team.
MD reckon that Villarreal, Granada and Eibar are also keen on Monchu as well as Bournemouth, who have just been relegated from the Premier League, and Sassuolo.
The Serie A side’s general manager, Giovanni Carnevali, has already confirmed they have been talking to Barcelona about Monchu.
“He is a young boy and we are talking with Barcelona, it is something we already did last season. We have a good relationship with the Catalan club. We are interested, but there is a long way from there to closing the operation. He is young but has all the characteristics to become a great player. ”
