Barcelona boss Ronald Koeman reportedly remains keen to bring Georginio Wijnaldum to the Camp Nou from Liverpool, while rumors of interest from Juventus in Luis Suarez have returned.

Mundo Deportivo are reporting that Wijnaldum is one of Barca’s “great objectives in the current transfer window and is seen as an affordable option because his contract expires in 2021.

Barca would need to shift Ivan Rakitic and Arturo Vidal first and haven’t yet made an official approach for Wijnaldum, according to Goal. The Dutchman is also not pushing for a move but is keeping his options open.

As for Suarez, Di Marzio reports that Juventus want to bring in the Uruguay international from Barcelona as a free agent.

Suarez is reportedly asking for €25 million as part of a severance package to end his deal early after being told by Koeman he’s not in his plans.

Juve are looking for a new No. 9 to replace Gonzalo Higuain in Turin.
