Barcelona reportedly rejected a huge offer for Francisco Trincao from a “powerful” Premier League club earlier t.
According to Sport, agent Jorge Mendes informed Barca that an English top-flight club were willing to pay €60 million for the young forward.
Barcelona only paid €31m in January to land the youngster from Braga but turned the bid down as they believe Trincao is key to their future plans.
Trincao has agreed a deal at the Camp Nou that runs until the end of the 2024-25 season and includes a buyout clause set at €500m.
The youngster’s form for Braga in 2020 has excited supporters ahead of his move to the Camp Nou. Trincao scored eight times and picked up six assists to help Braga to a third-place finish.
