Barcelona boss Ronald Koeman is reportedly going to give 17-year-old starlet Ilaix Moriba and 19-year-old Konrad de la Fuente the chance to shine in pre-season.

According to Mundo Deportivo, Ilaix will be one of four Barcelona B players to train with the first team ahead of the 2020-21 campaign.

Goalkeeper Arnau Tenas and defenders Sergio Akieme and Jorge Cuenca will also join Ilaix and will be hoping to catch Koeman’s eye.

Sport go even further and say Konrad will also be part of the group and say all five youngsters took part in PCR testing on Sunday.

They will join up with fellow starlets lñaki Peña, Ronald Araujo, Riqui Puig and Ansu who will also be with the group and are expected to be officially promoted to the first team for 2020-21.

It’s worth noting that Koeman will need to make up the numbers with a host of players missing next week. There are a total of 14 players away on international duty, Marc-Andre ter Stegen is injured, Miralem Pjanic self-isolating, and Lionel Messi doing his best to leave.
