Arsenal full-back Hector Bellerin is reportedly being looked at as a loan option by Barcelona. The Spanish right-back is viewed as a potential option for the Blaugrana’s right-back dilemma.
Currently, Barcelona don’t seem to view Nelson Semedo as the guy Ronald Koeman wants helming the Barca right full-back position. He had a difficult day against Bayern Munich and outside of that struggled to establish himself as a player who would fit into Koeman’s system.
Koeman also seems keen on playing Sergi Roberto in the midfield and avoiding playing him at right-back full time. That leaves us with Hector Bellerin.
Barcelona have pursued Bellerin in the past and this time it might be on a loan deal. Barca can’t really afford Bellerin at his 30 million euro valuation, so a season long loan while the club figures things out financially could be optimal.
