Barcelona have reportedly agreed a deal with Lyon for captain Memphis Depay and could unveil the Netherlands international later this week.

According to De Telegraaf, Barcelona have had an offer of €25 million plus €5m in add-ons accepted by the Ligue 1 side.

The 26-year-old will become new manager Ronald Koeman’s first signing at Barcelona and could arrive before the weekend.

The Dutch coach has reportedly specifically requested Memphis and he will take over from Luis Suarez as the club’s No. 9.

It had been reported that Barca had to sell before they could buy this summer, but it now appears Memphis could even arrives before Suarez departs.

The Uruguayan’s future remains unclear. Speculation has suggested he won’t move unless Barca pays the final year of his contract, and he could spend his last season in the stands.
