Barcelona striker Luis Suarez has reportedly turned down a huge offer from Inter Miami.

According to ESPN, David Beckham’s team were willing to offer a four-year deal “worth around €8 million net annually.”

The transfer would have seen the 33-year-old become the highest-paid player in the history of MLS, but the Uruguay international was not interested.

According to the report, Suarez is keen on a move to MLS but feels now is not the right time and would prefer to continue his career in Europe.

It’s still not clear if Suarez will actually leave Barcelona this summer. He’s reportedly passed an exam that will give him Italian citizenship and allow him to play in Serie A.

There’s been plenty of talk about Suarez heading to Juventus, but the Turin giants are also said to be close to a move for Edin Dzeko.
