Gossip: Ousmane Dembele wanted by Liverpool and Klopp

According to a report from Sport, Barcelona’s Ousmane Dembele is wanted by Liverpool and Jurgen Klopp. The Barca forward was linked with Liverpool back in the day when he was first leaving Dortmund.

Sport says that Barca likely aren’t interested in letting Dembele leave unless the deal is permanent, which doesn’t necessarily make a ton of sense to me or remain consistent with past reports.

The idea from Liverpool is that they would take on Dembele’s salary and pay a bit of a fee on top of it. Barca reportedly have yet to respond to the deal.

Honestly the idea of a healthy and motivated Dembele anywhere is terrifying, but Liverpool is especially scary. There isn’t a ton of depth to Dembele leaving reports at this point, but still something to keep an eye on if it gets further reported.
