Barcelona starlet Konrad de la Fuente is reportedly wanted on loan for the 2020-21 season by local rivals Girona.
The American teenager has impressed in pre-season friendlies against Nastic and Girona for Ronald Koeman’s side.
According to Sport, Girona are after a winger to help them achieve promotion back into La Liga and reckon Konrad could be their man.
Yet Barcelona B boss Francisco Javier García Pimienta apparently sees Konrad as a “key player” for his team, and it’s not clear if he will be allowed to depart or stay at the Camp Nou.
The teenager did offer a few thoughts after playing in Barcelona’s 3-1 win over Girona on Wednesday.
“I’m really happy I got this opportunity to be with the first team. It’s been a goal of mine since I was a kid and a dream and I’m happy that I’m making it a reality.
“You know I’m really grateful for the opportunities given to me. I’ve been working hard a lot to get them and will my best try to to advantage of it, believe in what I can do and be confident.”

Girona narrowly missed out on a return to La Liga last season. The club were beaten 1-0 by Elche in the promotion play-off, with the goal coming deep into stoppage time.
