Barcelona announced on Tuesday they had sold Nelson Semedo to Wolverhampton Wanderers for €30 million plus €10m in variables.

The right-back leaves the Camp Nou after three years, 122 appearances and two La Liga titles with the Catalan giants.

Semedo becomes the latest Portugal international to join Nuno Espirito Santo’s impressive Wolves team and links up with fellow internationals such as Pedro Neto, Ruben Neves, Rui Patricio and Joao Moutinho.

Barcelona are expected to use the funds from Semedo’s transfer to try and strengthen the squad before the transfer window closes on October 5.

Memphis Depay and Eric Garcia continue to be linked with a move to Barcelona, along with right-backs Sergino Dest and Max Aarons.
