Riqui Puig has reportedly made it pretty clear he doesn’t want to leave Barcelona this summer but is still attracting interest from clubs across Europe.
According to Mundo Deportivo, PSV and Porto have both been in touch with the Catalan giants to talk about a loan move for the 21-year-old.
New boss Ronald Koeman has already told Puig he’ll struggle for minutes this season and that he thinks the youngsters would be better off going out on loan to play regularly.
However, the midfielder has insisted he wants to stay and fight for his place. Of course that situation may change if he doesn’t feature at all in Barca’s next few games.
MD reckon more clubs are also likely to show an interest before the transfer window closes on October 5 and the midfielder can expect some more offers.
Barca play Villarreal, Celta Vigo and Sevilla before the window closes, but it’s not clear if we’ll see Puig feature in any of those matches.
