Barcelona will reportedly make one final attempt to sign center-back Eric Garcia from Manchester City before the transfer window closes.

According to ESPN, the Catalan giants have already had a bid of €10 million turned down, with Pep Guardiola’s side wanting closer to €30m for the teenager.

Barca can’t afford that but also know that Garcia is willing to spend the season in the Premier League and then head back to the Camp Nou for free next season.

Yet they would prefer to bring him in this summer and are hoping City might be willing to reduce their asking price now they’ve signed Rubén Días from Benfica.

Barcelona may also have to make some room in their hefty squad for Garcia. There are rumors Samuel Umtiti and Jean-Clair Todibo could go, but time is running out in the transfer window.
