Netherlands internationals Memphis Depay and Georginio Wijnaldum are reportedly both “close” to sealing moves to Barcelona.

According to Dutch daily Algemeen Dagblad, the players’ agents have been in extensive talks over a move and both are keen to make the switch to the Camp Nou.

The duo are not expected to be too expensive either as both are in the final year of their current contracts. AD reckon each will cost between €10 million and €30m.

Yet the report does acknowledge there is one slight problem. In order for both deals to go ahead Barcelona need to make a “big sale” first.

The report isn’t exactly clear on who that big sale might be but seems pretty confident Lionel Messi is leaving for Manchester City for a fee in the region of €100-150 million.
