Luis Suarez has reportedly agreed personal terms with Juventus as he closes in on a departure from Barcelona this summer.
According to ESPN and BBC Sport, the Uruguay international is close to a transfer “if he can negotiate his release from the Spanish giants.”
Suarez is expected to move either on a free transfer or for a “nominal fee” and “would be happy to be paid off with one season’s wages.”
There have already been reports Suarez is in talks to terminate his contract at Barca. His current deal has one year left with the option of one more if he plays 60% of games.
Suarez’s move would see him join Arthur in leaving Barcelona for Juventus this summer, while midfielder Miralem Pjanic has come the other way.
The striker would also be the second player to depart this week. Ivan Rakitic returned to Sevilla on Thursday, while Arturo Vidal is reportedly close to a move to Inter.
