In the world of football reporting, there are often conflicting rumors and reports that seem to find their way to publication. This week one of the stories that has two sides is whether or not Mikel Arteta could potentially be a Ronald Koeman replacement.

So yes, we’re to point of the year wherein we begin speculation about future Barca managers when we currently have a manager.

Arteta is of course connected to Barca and was Pep Guardiola's protege. A report from RAC1 says that Joan Laporta is keen on seeing Arteta become one of the top candidates to replace Koeman should he become president.

Another report from Goal says that Arteta is indeed NOT an option to become manager at Barcelona should Laporta win the presidency. Who to believe? You tell me. I’ll flip a coin today and tomorrow flip it again.
