Paris Saint-Germain sporting director Leonardo has been asked about his club’s interest in Lionel Messi yet again in the wake of the Champions League tie between the two sides.

The French champions continue to be linked with a summer move for Messi after his contract at Barcelona expires at the end of the season.

Leonardo says that PSG are keeping an eye on the situation but there is nothing going on with the Barcelona captain just yet.

“We have nothing at all in relation to the future, except the idea of extending the players that we already have,” he said.

“There is nothing to contract or plan for anything. We are also obliged to measure what will be the financial results of this season.

“So, we’re attentive, but there is nothing (with Messi).”

The rumor mill regarding PSG has been getting busy in recent days. French daily Le Parisien has reported that Cristiano Ronaldo could become a target for the Ligue 1 side.

Back in Spain a new report from Carrusel Deportivo has claimed Messi’s dad cancelled a meeting with PSG because they want to hear from new president Joan Laporta first.
