The decision has been made apparently?

One of the more up in the air job titles in the world is the manager of Barcelona. The position comes with its many benefits, but one of the few downsides is you never know when the sack is around the corner.

Ronald Koeman has already seen his fair share of ups and downs as coach. However, the latest report seems to point towards Koeman fulfilling his contract and getting a second season as the head of the club.

Joan Laporta’s admiration for Xavi as coach of Barcelona seems to have taken a backseat to the somewhat consistent performances that Koeman has pulled out of Barcelona domestically. Pair decent enough results with Xavi probably not wanting to come to Barca yet, and you have the perfect scenario for letting ole Ronald stick around for another year.
