Juan Miranda waved goodbye to Barcelona on Tuesday. The Catalans have opted not to extend his contract and he has joined Real Betis on a permanent basis.
The 21-year-old spent last season on loan with Manuel Pellegrini’s side and has now penned a contract that runs unti 2024.
Here’s Barcelona’s official statement:

Miranda started out at Betis before joining Barcelona B and working his way through the ranks. The youngster made 22 La Liga appearances under Pellegrini last season, and it’s no surprise to see him move permanently.
The news comes amid speculation Barcelona are set to announce Emerson Royal is moving the other way. The Catalans are expected to shell out the €9 million needed to bring the Brazilian to the Camp Nou permanently.
