Memphis Depay shirt appears on Barcelona’s online shop

Barcelona seem to be preparing for the arrival of Memphis Depay on a free transfer this summer if activity on the club’s website is anything to go by.

Saturday saw eagle-eyed visitors to Barcelona’s online shop spot that it was possible to buy this season’s home shirt with Memphis Depay’s name on the back.

Images of the shirt quickly made their way all over social media and, unsurprisingly, the page was taken down. It returned a little bit later with no sign of any Memphis shirts.

Speculation on Saturday also suggested that Barca have made an improved offer to Depay and hope to be able to seal the deal within the next few days.

Sport report that Depay has now been offered a two-year deal, with the option of one more, and have increased the salary on offer through various variables.

Meanwhile, Barca’s new home kit for the 2021-22 season is expected to go on sale on Tuesday.
