Miralem Pjanic has offered an update on his future at Barcelona amid speculation he could leave in the summer and return to Juventus.
The midfielder said earlier in the season he didn’t want to leave after just one season but barely featured under Ronald Koeman in 2020-21 and may suffer the same fate now it’s been confirmed the Dutchman is staying.
Pjanic gave an interview to Bosnian television but gave little away about his thoughts on whether he will stay or go.
“Leaving Barcelona? It’s hard to talk about that now. I’m spending the holidays with my family and that’s all I’m thinking about at the moment. The preparations for the new season start in July and then I’ll join the team. We’ll see what happens later.”

Champions League winners Chelsea have also been linked with Pjanic and it’s difficult to see the 31-year-old staying on if he’s going to be on the fringes once again.
The midfielder’s price tag may prove a problem but there have been suggestions he could either move on an initial loan or as part of another swap deal.
