Barcelona and Dembele begin contact over contract renewal - report

Barcelona and Ousmane Dembele have begun talks over what a new contract could look like. The Frenchman’s contract finishes up in 2022, and they haven’t seriously begun renewal talks until now according to Onze.

Dembele finds himself at a fascinating point in his career. He reportedly has multiple offers from clubs to leave next summer when his deal runs out. So Barca have to work fast in order to either re-sign him or sell him to help bolster some summer transfer cash.

There’s still a bright future ahead of Dembele. The big question on everyone's mind is how much of that future will take place at Barcelona.
