Germany and Atalanta full-back Robin Gosens has been talking about his future amid speculation Barcelona are keen on signing the defender this summer.

There have been reports Gosens has emerged as a target for the Catalan giants after some impressive showings at Euro 2020, particularly in Germany’s win over Portugal.

Gosens says he didn’t want to think about transfers during the tournament but will now speak to his father and agent about his future.

“We’ll have a look now. Already during the European Championship I told my dad that he should just leave me alone with the topic,” he said.

“Now I’m back home again, I’ll talk to him and see if something is on the program.

“I’m not lying when I say that I don’t know anything about it at the moment. My entire focus was on the Euros. When something happens, let’s see.”

Rumors of a Barcelona move for Gosens emerged amid speculation Jordi Alba could be sold this summer. There has been speculation Alba is wanted by Inter but the full-back doesn’t appear interested in leaving the Camp Nou.

One left-back who is set to leave Barca this summer is Junior Firpo. The 24-year-old is expected to complete a move to Premier League side Leeds United shortly.
