Andres Iniesta has been talking about Lionel Messi’s shock Barcelona exit and admits it will be tough seeing the GOAT in a different shirt.
Messi will be unveiled as a Paris Saint-Germain player on Wednesday and will wear the No. 30 at the Parc des Princes.
Iniesta knows it will be odd seeing Messi playing for another club after spending his whole career with the Catalan giants.
“It will be difficult to see him in another shirt than that of Barca,” he said.
“I don’t know if surprise is the right word — Leo really has represented Barca for so many years. But sometimes circumstances dictate things. I don’t have the inside track but it is a situation people will just have to deal with,
“As a player he just transcended everything. I’ve not seen a player like him — and I don’t think I ever will. You look at what he did and for so long...”

Meanwhile, Barca get back to work against Real Sociedad on Sunday in La Liga.
There will be no Messi of course but Iniesta feels the club can still be a force. He added, “I am confident of that — new faces are coming in who will make their own major contributions.”
