Tottenham Hotspur have become the latest club to be linked with a move for Barcelona midfielder Ilaix Moriba with some pretty wild rumors flying about regarding the negotiations.
There’s also an update from Spain with Mundo Deportivo claiming “everything has been agreed” between Ilaix and Spurs and the north Londoners now just need to meet Barca’s asking price.
The report also adds that Ilaix already had an agreement with RB Leipzig and needs to find out if that can be reversed and that the “economic claims of his agents can also be decisive because they threaten to hinder any operation between clubs.”
That follows on from a pretty wild rumor flying about that a move to Spurs could hit a stumbling block because Moriba’s agents want a whopping €15 million in commissions for themselves.
Moriba has until Tuesday, when the transfer window closes across Europe, to find a way out of Barcelona or looks set to spend a season in the stands after being unable to agree a new deal with the Catalan giants.
Barca are reportedly unwilling to accept less than €20m for the 18-year-old who is into the final year of his contract at the Camp Nou and able to leave for free next summer.
