There are less and less interested teams

Miralem Pjanić wants to leave Barcelona, and Barcelona wants to get his salary off the books. But there is growing “pessimism” that the player will get his move, according to the latest report.

Juventus, Fiorentina, AS Roma, and Napoli have been mentioned as possible destinations but the chances of them snapping him up have gone down.

Juve signed Manuel Locatelli and were unable to move Aaron Ramsey on, meaning they do not have space in their wage bill for another midfielder. Fiorentina were reportedly interested but opted on getting Lucas Torreira on loan from Arsenal instead.

Roma have a lot of players and don’t consider him a priority. Napoli is considered the strongest possibility. But the biggest problem in all cases is his massive salary - even if Barcelona agree to pay for some part of it, it’s difficult to find a buyer.

Another rumored destination is another club in La Liga, although it has not been revealed yet which one that is.
