Granada coach Roberto Moreno has admitted his club were in talks with Barcelona during the summer regarding a move for Alex Collado.

A transfer failed to happen, and still seems unlikely currently, but Moreno is refusing to rule out the possibility of the 22-year-old moving to Los Carmenes.

“We were talking during this summer but the circumstance did not come to pass,” he said.

“I have a squad of 21 outfield players and two goalkeepers and if there are no exits there are already too many players to incorporate. someone else. I see it complicated, but let’s see what happens between now and December, there could be a lot of changes.”

Moreno also made it clear he’s keen to recruit young and hungry talent for his team.

“I want good players. Any good young player with enthusiasm is welcome,” he added.

“They are talented players, who like good ball handling, having it, and that helps the style that I try to impose, but any player who knows how to compete is welcome and my job is to adapt.”
