Barcelona have confirmed they have reached an agreement to bring in 17-year-old starlet Emre Demir from Turkish side Kayserispor.
The teenager will join Barca B next season on a five-year contract for a fee of €2 million.
Here’s the club’s official statement:
“FC Barcelona and Kayserispor have reached an agreement for the transfer of Emre Demir for a cost of 2 million euros plus variables on a contract until 30 June 2027.
“The buyout clause will be set at 400 million euros. The player will be staying at the Turkish club until the end of the present season, after which he’ll be forming part of the Barça B setup.”

Demir is described as a “skilful left-footed attacking midfielder” who is “essentially a playmaker” but can also play anywhere along the front line.
It’s been reported previously that Barca had been tracking the youngster for some time but have now finally managed to seal a deal for the talented teenager.
