Erling Haaland has reportedly been handed down a decision deadline for his future by Borussia Dortmund of January 31st. The German club is in all likelihood a bit tired of seeing his agent Mino Raiola dance around Europe to the tune of all the big clubs touting their player who’s still under contract until 2024.
Haaland’s decision on where to play his football next season isn’t a small one. The Norwegian is likely going to finish out the season at Dortmund before making a move with most of Europe’s top clubs thought to be keen on the striker
Both Real Madrid and Barcelona are two clubs to have been heavily linked, with Barca’s journey to the signing much more fraught with financial difficulty. Yet even so president Joan Laporta has spoken publicly about how he feels “anything is possible.”
Either way, if this deadline is real, it’ll be fascinating to see what leaks to the media with Raiola at the helm.
