Reports from Marca (via Hungary) claim that FC Barcelona have beaten arch-rivals Real Madrid to the signature of talented Hungarian midfielder, Matyas Tajti

If recent reports from Hungary are anything to go by, then the good news just keeps coming for FC Barcelona. Just hours after FIFA announced that they were suspending Barcelona's highly-publicised transfer ban, the Blaugrana have won yet another battle, beating arch-rivals Real Madrid to the signing of 15 year-old Hungarian talent, Matyas Tajti. A relative unknown prior to today's move, Tajti plies his trade at Puskas Akademia, the youth team of one of Hungary's most successful clubs, Videoton FC, where his talent caught the eye of Spain's elite. Given the link to a former Los Blancos legend, one might have thought that Tajti would have been tempted by a move to the Spanish capital, but like so many others before him, Tajti found that a chance at La Masia was just too good to turn down.

A midfielder by trade, Matyas Tajti undoubtedly faces a tough challenge to establish himself at the Camp Nou, but having impressed both Barcelona and Real Madrid in trials this year, it's clear that the club have seen enough to believe he is deserving of a chance. With the club yet to provide any official confirmation, we can only speculate on his future, but it has been suggested that Tajti will join Barca's Juvenil A side, who recently claimed the inaugural UEFA Youth League title, an under-18 equivalent of the UEFA Champions League.

Following the signing of Croatian prodigy, Alen Halilovic, Tajti is set to be Barcelona's second signing of the summer, with the promise of plenty more business to come. Not only is German international goalkeeper Marc-Andre ter Stegen rumoured to be signing from Borussia Monchengladbach, but Barcelona has also confirmed their intention to sign at least one central defender to replace the departing club captain, Carles Puyol. Rumours have also linked the club with moves for Borussia Dortmund duo Marco Reus and Ilkay Gundogan while rumours persist surrounding Andoni Zubizarreta's interest in Chelsea utility man, David Luiz.

With the first team facing a summer of change, it's nice to know that La Masia remains in such capable hands.
